This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy logistics operation where your work will directly support the efficient movement and storage of vital equipment and materials. The role:

  • As a Warehouse and Logistics Operative, you'll be responsible for supporting warehouse operations through the receipt, storage, control, and distribution of goods, helping to ensure materials are available when and where they are needed.
  • Working within a structured and collaborative environment, you'll gain valuable experience across a variety of warehousing and logistics activities while contributing to the success of a nationally important business.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods and materials.
  • Issuing stock accurately to support operational requirements.
  • Maintaining stock records and supporting stock control activities.
  • Carrying out stock checks and inventory counting activities.
  • Supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse and wider supply chain.

This role is full time, based on site at Ashchurch, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Essential experience:

  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • Basic warehouse and logistics experience.
  • Forklift licence or experience operating manual handling equipment would be advantageous.
  • A willingness to undertake further training where required.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
