The role
As a Procurement Manager – Contracts, you’ll be at the heart of delivering complex engineering projects that matter. You’ll manage procurement and contract deliverables from inception through to closure, ensuring suppliers meet key milestones on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Day‑to‑day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Managing supplier performance and contract deliverables to meet project objectives
- Liaising with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers at all levels
- Driving cost control, budgeting, and earned value management
- Managing contract risks, changes, and implementing effective mitigations
- Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
This role is full time and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Procurement Manager – Contracts
- Extensive experience in contract delivery within construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors (5+ years)
- Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions, including FIDIC, NEC3, LOGIC, and BIMCO
- Proven ability in cost control, planning, and budgeting
- Skilled in managing contract change and variations
Advantageous: Engineering background and experience with complex EPC projects
Qualifications for the Procurement Manager – Contracts
- Engineering degree or equivalent through experience
- Project Management or equivalent professional qualification.
