The role

As an Assistant Creative Content Producer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll help transform complex ideas into compelling, accessible, and inspiring multimedia content. Your work will play a vital role in showcasing our sustainability, safety, engineering, and operational achievements - helping colleagues, customers, and partners understand the impact we make across defence, aerospace, and engineering.

Day‐to‐day responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging multimedia content including video, photography, and digital design.
  • Produce, shoot, and edit creative assets from concept through to delivery.
  • Work closely with communications, marketing, operations, and technical teams to bring their messages to life.
  • Develop fresh ideas that support awareness campaigns, learning content, branding, and internal/external communications.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends and recommend innovative approaches to content creation.

This role is full time, 36 hours per week, with a hybrid working arrangement. You'll be based at our Rosyth site.

Essential experience for the Assistant Creative Content Producer:

  • Strong experience in visual content production, including video and photography.
  • Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for editing and motion graphics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and independently in a fast‐paced environment.

Qualifications for the Assistant Creative Content Producer:

  • Degree‐level qualification or relevant training/education in media, film, digital design, or a related field.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
