The role

As Junior SuccessFactors Support Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting and improving one of our core people systems. Working within our SAP Application Management Services team, you’ll help keep our SuccessFactors platform running smoothly, ensuring our people across defence, aerospace and engineering can focus on delivering critical work that protects the UK and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity to build a career in SAP and HR systems, gaining hands‑on experience in a global organisation. You’ll develop technical expertise, problem‑solving skills and stakeholder engagement, all while contributing to continuous improvement across business‑critical technology.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting incident and service request resolution in collaboration with Service Desk and AMS teams
  • Performing triage to ensure issues are routed to the right technical or business specialists
  • Testing fixes, enhancements and new functionality before release
  • Investigating system issues and recommending solutions for continuous improvement
  • Creating reports, work orders and documentation to support system performance

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week, provides hybrid working arrangements and will require travel to site on a quarterly basis for team meetings. The preferred location for this role would be near Lakeside, Portsmouth but this is not essential.

Essential Experience

  • Demonstrating experience in a Service Desk or technical support environment
  • Managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast‑paced setting
  • Resolving issues and analysing problems with a structured approach
  • Showing a strong interest in SAP, SuccessFactors or HR systems
  • Applying processes and working within defined methodologies

Qualifications

  • A degree in Human Resources, Information Management, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
