The role: As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role at the heart of our procurement operations supporting the efficient flow of materials, services, and information that keep critical defence and engineering projects on track. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, where your attention to detail and organisational skills directly support national infrastructure and security.

  • Converting approved requisitions into purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
  • Monitoring and managing open purchase orders, keeping system data up to date.
  • Resolving invoice queries promptly, working closely with finance and accounts payable teams.
  • Supporting Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) reconciliation activities to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely procurement operations.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.

Essential experience of the Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Using Microsoft Office tools confidently, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a procurement or supply chain environment (preferred).

Qualifications for the Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
  • Desirable - CIPS qualification or equivalent.

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
