The role:
As a HR Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our Contracts and Onboarding (C&O) team, supporting new starters and existing employees across all Babcock sites. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where your work will directly contribute to the smooth onboarding of talent into our business, helping us deliver critical services that protect nations and communities.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Supporting and managing cases from the People Advisor Team, ensuring service level agreements are met
- Facilitating the administration of employment contracts and onboarding processes
- Engaging with hiring managers and candidates to provide timely updates
- Recording HR data accurately and aligning with payroll deadlines
- Collaborating with the wider PeopleCentre team to deliver a seamless employee experience
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with three days in the office/onsite and two days working from home.
Essential experience:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced HR environment
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Qualifications:
- Standard Grades including English and Mathematics
- CIPD Level 3 (desired but not essential)
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
