About the Role
We are a small, family-run business based in Maidstone, Kent, operating an online retail website with all orders fulfilled from our own warehouse. We also have a busy trade counter, supporting both retail customers and our in-house field engineers who work on domestic and commercial installations. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines warehouse duties, customer service, and stock control.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and dispatching orders from our Maidstone warehouse
- Assisting customers at the trade counter during their visits
- Supporting field engineers with parts and materials
- Operating a forklift (training can be provided if required)
- Using basic computer systems to assist with tasks such as monthly stock takes and inventory control
- Maintaining a safe, tidy, and well-organised warehouse environment
