As an Electronics Trainer based at Lyneham, near Chippenham, Wiltshire, you’ll step away from the tools and into a role where you’ll shape the next generation of military engineering professionals, using your practical know-how to coach, guide, and assess learners across the MOD's cutting-edge electro-mechanical systems. The role:

  • Preparing and delivering engaging technical training modules using modern learning technologies
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders across defence schools
  • Developing and maintaining course materials, assessments and trainee records
  • Participating in quality assurance activities to continuously improve training delivery
  • Monitoring trainee progress and providing tailored support and feedback

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Lyneham.

Essential experience:

  • Supervisory experience in a technical or engineering environment
  • Proven experience in a relevant working environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook

Qualifications:

  • HNC in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. General Electronics, Radar, Electronic Control, Telecommunications, or Avionic Systems) or significant experience in the field
  • Willingness to complete a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Learning within 12 months of employment.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
