The role:
As a Quality Business Partner – Quality Manager, you will take the lead in shaping and delivering the quality strategy across our Resilience training programmes. You will work closely with contract teams, external partners and government emergency service clients to ensure training is compliant, continuously improving, and delivered to the highest standard.
Day-to-day, you will be:
- Leading the internal quality cycle, including developing and monitoring the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
- Creating, implementing and updating quality policies in collaboration with higher education partners and customers.
- Taking the lead on Ofsted preparation activities across the business unit.
- Acting as the key quality point-of-contact for customers including the Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade.
- Managing the quality team to ensure compliance with processes, including internal quality assurance (IQA) activities.
This is a full-time, permanent position, operating on a hybrid working pattern of three days onsite across London locations and two days from home.
Essential experience:
- Background in education, training quality or centre management.
- Strong knowledge of the Education and Inspection Framework and apprenticeship provision.
- Experience acting as an Ofsted nominee for apprenticeship programmes.
- Understanding of commercial training and safeguarding requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 (desirable).
Qualifications:
- A recognised quality qualification (e.g., Qualified IQA).
- Level 2 English and maths (or equivalent).
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and maintain Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 1 (NPPV1) security clearance for this role.
