Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 4 On 4 Off, 40.25 hours average (working both earlies and lates)
Salary: OTE £37,000 per annum (basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses)

About the Role
Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.
- Travelling to residential sites in a van you are responsible for, around the region, powering a high-pressure water jet for restoration
- Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems
- Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided
- Run diagnostics and repairs on drains
- Delivering good customer service
- Maintaining good health and safety practise while carrying out works
- Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished
- Comply with health and safety responsibilities, i.e. PPE / safe site setups protecting Lanes Group employees, the public and other road users
- Utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms
- Work unsupervised in all weather conditions, wearing correct PPE and utilising the lone worker system
- Dynamically risk assess site access and working conditions depending on specific circumstances on arrival
- Liaising with the client regarding process and any updates
- Provide support to your colleagues
- Conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment and plant before and after use
- Report any defects or malfunctions
- Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them
- Any other reasonable ad-hoc tasks, duties or projects as requested by management
What is essential is the ability to work safely to quickly diagnose and deliver practical and efficient solutions to attain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
About You
The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage. You must have a full UK driver's licence as our vehicles are all manual.
