The role is responsible for the successful fulfilment of Supply Department activities. Working as part of a dynamic and flexible team you will ensure that all tasks within the Department are carried out to a high‑quality standard and in accordance with the appropriate practices, technical publications and procedures. You will place, progress and deliver orders for equipment along with effecting stock issues, receipts and performing husbandry tasks on equipment such as stocktaking and location maintenance. Operate MoD Logistic Information Systems as required for the task and assist in the maintenance and stock management of the Unit Materiel Account, ensuring a high level of housekeeping, cleanliness and security are maintained. Complete/assist with the loading/unloading of vehicles as directed. In addition, part of your role will be conducting School Bus Escorting duties. This will require you to ensure that only children entitled to use the service are seated on the Bus as per the authorised user list, ensuring that all children are properly seated and seatbelts are always worn when the bus is in motion. You will need to always exercise and maintain an appropriate level of control during the journey.

This role is full time, working 36 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Valley, Holyhead.
Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:- A background in Logistics or Warehouse Operations with the ability to communicate well and always promote best practice.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a team environment.
- Computer Literate and familiar with MS Office applications.
- Demonstrates customer focus with the drive to deliver our contractual objectives safely.
- Resilience and adaptability, able to roll with uncertainty in a complex, matrixed organisation.
- Problem solver, not just an identifier, great at simplifying, prioritising and using data as well as good judgement to make decisions.
- Current full UK driving licence.
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
