The role:

  • Provide document management and administrative support across the Compliance function and Technical Information Centre (TIC).
  • Contribute to the effective management, storage and control of sensitive information, ensuring records are maintained accurately and securely.
  • Build valuable skills in compliance, records management, administration and stakeholder engagement.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Manage physical and electronic documentation, ensuring information is accurately retained, maintained and archived.
  • Support configuration control and records management activities within the Technical Information Centre.
  • Produce reports and carry out a range of administrative activities, including document preparation, filing, scanning and correspondence.
  • Maintain departmental systems and records while supporting users with system processes and information requests.
  • Assist with meeting administration, visitor notifications, travel arrangements, supply ordering and other team support activities.

This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:45 and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience:

  • Using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrating excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling information.
  • Working in a process-driven administrative or document control environment.
  • Managing sensitive or confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Building positive working relationships and contributing effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • Standard Grade English and Mathematics at Level 3, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of document control, records management or business management systems is desirable.
  • Knowledge of document classification and control methodologies is desirable.
  • Familiarity with print and scanning technologies is desirable.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
