About the Role

We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work on a full time basis for days on our waste water contract. Driving a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor. Due to the nature of the role, a full HGV Class 1 or Class 2 UK drivers licence with CPC and an up-to-date digi tachograph card are required.

Working out of Budds Farm Depot - Southampton - Covering the Hampshire Region

Hours

4 days on 4 days off - 6am to 6pm

Salary

£17 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
  • Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.
  • Communicate professionally with customers.
  • Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.

Experience and Qualifications

  • HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence.
  • Valid in-date CPC and up-to-date tac card.
