Role Type: Full time / Permanent / Monday to Friday (early finish on a Friday)

The role:

  • You will operate material handling equipment across multiple equipment variants.
  • You will support inspections, certification activity, and engineering assurance requirements.
  • You will carry out repairs using hand tools, powered tools, and bench mounted equipment.
  • You will ensure full asset accountability while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time. The role is based onsite at Ashchurch, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 37 hours per week.

Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:

  • Experience operating material handling or manual handling equipment.
  • Experience working in practical, hands‑on environments.
  • Confidence working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety responsibilities.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
