Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Preparing payment applications
  • Managing scope variations
  • Overseeing subcontractor accounts
  • Participating in project meetings
  • Tracking commercial risks
  • Continuously developing professional competencies in line with RICS standards

Support the full lifecycle of one or more contracts, delivering a professional commercial service from award to completion. Assist in meeting all commercial obligations—including supply chain contracts—by maintaining accurate records, correspondence, and documentation to protect the Alliance’s commercial interests.

Core tasks include:

  • Cost control
  • Change management
  • Subcontract procurement
  • Account administration

Prepare and contribute to meetings such as risk and opportunity workshops, project and client reviews, and subcontractor/supplier account meetings. Foster strong relationships across Alliance functions, ensuring teams are commercially informed and equipped with relevant data. Provide support for tenders and other tasks as required to meet evolving Alliance and client needs.

This is a full time role working 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements, with a minimum expectation of 2 days on site, based at Cadder Yard near Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.

Essential experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in negotiation and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification, or currently working towards a recognised equivalent.
