The role:
- Deliver quality assurance activities and provide day-to-day guidance across projects.
- Conduct internal, supplier, and customer audits in line with the audit schedule.
- Develop and improve quality processes and procedures across programmes.
- Lead detailed quality investigations and support corrective actions.
- Analyse quality data and produce reports to identify trends and drive improvement.
This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Friday and is based on site at Rosyth.
Essential experience:
- Demonstrable experience in quality assurance within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading or supervising quality activities or teams.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and standards.
- Proven ability to review, improve, and implement processes.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to a recognised trade standard with a relevant academic qualification such as HNC or SVQ Level 3.
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Membership or working towards membership of the Chartered Quality Institute desirable.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
