We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work on a full-time basis for days on our waste water contract. Driving a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor. Due to the nature of the role, a full HGV Class 1 or Class 2 UK drivers licence with CPC and up to date digi tachograph card is required.
Hours: 4 days on 4 days off - 6am - 6pm
Salary: £17 per hour
Location: Chalgrove, Oxford
Responsibilities – but not limited to:
- Operate HGV-mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
- Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.
- Communicate professionally with customers.
- Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
- Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.
Experience and qualifications required for the role:
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence.
- Valid in date CPC and up to date tachograph card.
