The role
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll support critical logistics operations by ensuring materials are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy and meeting daily operational targets. Day-to-day
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials accurately
- Picking, packing, and dispatching orders in line with operational requirements
- Maintaining stock accuracy, including certification and shelf-life checks
- Operating material handling equipment and supporting general warehouse duties
- Following health and safety procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workspace.
This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, based on site at Catterick, with working hours of 07:00 – 15:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 – 12:00 Friday.
Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft applications
- Experience working within warehouse or logistics environments
- Understanding of warehouse or MRP systems
- Awareness of stock control and inventory processes
- Knowledge of systems such as SAP or MJDI (desirable)
Qualifications for the Warehouse Operative
- MHE (Material Handling Equipment) licence – preferred but not essential.
- MJDI MA Qualification – preferred but not essential.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. Your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
