We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond! We are currently recruiting for Jetting Operative to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across the Bradford Area, Yorkshire Region. Working Hours & Location

  • Location: Bradford
  • Hours: 47.5 hours (Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm)
  • Salary: up to £15.00 per hour
  • Weekly paid

About the Role

  • Attending to customers, informing them of works due to be carried out and answering any concerns.
  • Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.
  • Reporting all findings / data to the appropriate teams.
  • Assisting with all aspects of high pressure water jetting.
  • Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
  • Adjust pressure levels based on the condition of the system and the nature of the blockage (e.g., grease, debris, or tree roots).
  • Use the equipment to remove waste materials and prevent build-up in drains and sewer lines.
  • Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes.
  • Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
  • Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.

Experience and Qualifications: (Desirable but not essential unless stated as required)

  • Full UK driving license Required
  • Water Jetting Association Red or Blue book
  • Banksman
  • Manual Handling
  • Emergency First Aid
  • NRSWA
  • EUSR National Water Hygiene
  • Medium risk confined space

Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
