The role
As a Media Developer, you’ll design and deliver multimedia, e-learning, and digital content that supports Babcock’s training services. This is your chance to combine creative expertise with technical precision to make a real impact on defence training and service delivery. Day-to-day, your work will enhance learner experiences, drive innovation in digital learning, and strengthen Babcock’s reputation across critical contracts.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create engaging multimedia learning materials
- Develop interactive e-learning content using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate, and Captivate
- Write scripts or code (e.g., JavaScript) to enhance digital learning functionality
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and defence standards
- Capture and edit photography and video for training purposes
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Blandford.
Essential experience of the Media Developer
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative projects across multiple media types
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite CC
- Experience with rapid e-learning development tools (Articulate, Storyline, Captivate)
- Photography and videography skills
- Knowledge of audio, image, and video production
Qualifications for the Media Developer
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification, or demonstrable experience in a digital learning environment
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
