Overview
Wesco is hiring for a Senior Analyst – Quality Assurance in Chesterfield, England, United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Perform multiple inspections of inbound items and documentation in order to verify product conformance to specification.
- Manage customer requests for release certification.
- Perform root cause analysis through direct customer & supplier interaction and support in issue resolution with speed and accuracy.
- Report observations and problems clearly and concisely and take appropriate actions.
- Prepare, manage and analyze quality data; utilize inputs from multiple systems and business entities.
- Plan, conduct and execute assignments, reviewing progress and evaluating results.
- Determine and communicate corrective action requirements and internal processes.
- Conduct gap assessments to new and existing standards.
Qualifications
- Required Education: High School Degree or Equivalent
- Preferred Education: High School Degree or Equivalent
- Inspection, operations, quality management experience.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Access, Visio and Power BI.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Experience in fastener, wire & cable, network security, or utility industry preferred.
- Inspection and testing experience preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

The approximate amount of travel this job will require: 0% – 25%.
Working Environment
- General Office – standard office environment with appropriate lighting and temperature; no hazardous or unpleasant conditions.
- Warehouse – may be exposed to various weather conditions; protective clothing may be required; operates in a warehouse environment with noise considerations and safety regulations.
Physical Expectations
- Work is generally sedentary but may require standing and walking up to 10% of the time.
- May require excessive bending or stooping.
