Based in Uxbridge, this full-time, on-site role focuses on driving revenue growth within an established customer base as well as driving new opportunities. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales process, employing proactive selling techniques to expand account value and enhance the client experience. Working in close collaboration with the outside sales team, you will ensure strategic objectives are met while consistently delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Sales Execution: Processes orders via email and telephone, ensuring high data accuracy during entry and fulfillment coordination. Proactively communicates lead times and stock availability to clients.
- Revenue Growth: Drives incremental sales by leveraging customer purchase history to recommend relevant products and upsell key features.
- Pipeline Management: Qualifies and develops high-potential leads from marketing and external sales channels to expand the customer base.
- Strategic Quoting: Manages the full quotation lifecycle, conducting follow-ups to secure business and analysing 'lost-order' data to improve conversion rates.
- Order Oversight: Monitors open order reports to mitigate delivery risks and maintain strict adherence to promised timelines.
- Market Intelligence: Synthesises industry trends and competitive pricing data into actionable feedback for the management team. Facilitates end-to-end order management, from initial inquiry through fulfilment and delivery communication. Maximises account value through strategic cross-selling and data-driven product recommendations. Converts marketing and field-generated leads into active accounts through diligent qualification. Optimises operational workflows by identifying and implementing process improvements. Ensures high service levels by proactively managing backlogs, expediting shipments, and providing transparent customer updates.
Qualifications
- Requires knowledge and experience in sales or account management – min 2 years.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, and ability to perform basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Working in a team environment.
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form.
- Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts.
