Overview
Warehouse Operations Controller (Warehouse Lead) – Mirfield, UK. Monday–Friday rotating shifts 08:00–16:00 / 10:00–18:00. The role leads the Hardware Shipping department, ensuring efficient workflow, customer service, and KPI reporting.
Responsibilities
- Control and organise the operations team to meet customer deadlines.
- Manage the flow of work through the Hardware Shipping department.
- Act as first point of contact for urgent escalations and liaison with external carriers on shipment queries.
- Support the Department Manager with KPI reporting and operational dashboards.
- Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Senior Warehouse Operative, Supervisor, or Warehouse Lead.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, capable of thriving under pressure.
- Team‑player with the ability to build long‑term stakeholder relationships.
