Overview

Warehouse Operations Controller (Warehouse Lead) – Mirfield, UK. Monday–Friday rotating shifts 08:00–16:00 / 10:00–18:00. The role leads the Hardware Shipping department, ensuring efficient workflow, customer service, and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Control and organise the operations team to meet customer deadlines.
  • Manage the flow of work through the Hardware Shipping department.
  • Act as first point of contact for urgent escalations and liaison with external carriers on shipment queries.
  • Support the Department Manager with KPI reporting and operational dashboards.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Senior Warehouse Operative, Supervisor, or Warehouse Lead.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, capable of thriving under pressure.
  • Team‑player with the ability to build long‑term stakeholder relationships.
