What Are We Looking For?
Due to continued growth, WES, part of the RSE Group, is looking for a Workshop Technician to join us on a permanent basis at our Workshop in Pontyclun.
You’ll be working with established teams to assist in our continued successful delivery of projects across the UK for our clients within the Water industry.
Some of Your Key Duties Include
- Manufacture, fabricate, and assemble test a range mechanical equipment, including chemical dosing skids, kiosks and associated plant.
- Fabrication, assembly and installation of PVC, PP, PE and PVDF pipework systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs and installation layouts to ensure work is completed accurately and to specification.
- Work safely in accordance with RAMS, site procedures and health & safety legislation, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role and your skill set to support the successful delivery of projects.
What Do You Need?
- NVQ, Apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering would be desirable but is not essential.
- Proven experience in mechanical installation or assembly is advantageous.
- Good understanding of Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety processes and procedures.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
