Due to continued growth, WES, part of the RSE Group, is looking for a Project Manager to join us on a permanent basis in Pontyclun. This role involves a high degree of technical and commercial understanding and a strong focus on client satisfaction, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing all aspects of the project lifecycle and leading a multidisciplinary approach to deliver complex and customized chemical dosing solutions for a variety of industries.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
- Project planning to achieve the optimum WES, and agreed client installation and delivery dates.
- Ensuring that when part of a project, design, equipment schedules, P&IDs, layouts, calculations, etc., are all appropriate and suitable to achieve project performance requirements.
- Project cost and budget management to achieve or improve upon agreed project margins.
- Materials and equipment procurement to ensure effectiveness and cost/quality balance.
- Change and variation management and control to maximise opportunity and mitigate risk to project margins, including appropriate contract administration and communication of changes and variations.
- Ensure that all projects are installed to operational safety requirements, and to comply with the company’s and statutory HSEQ policies and regulations.
- Preparation of documents and information to allow workshop manufacture/assembly of projects to be efficient and effective.
- Managing customer and WES stakeholder expectations by facilitation of regular project review meetings, progress reports, etc.
- Planning and preparation of documents and information to allow site installation activities to be undertaken efficiently and effectively.
- Coordination of system commissioning, certification, and documentation.
- Contract compliance in respect of timely payment applications, notices, submissions, etc.
- Ensuring the Business Plan is delivered in alignment with the Chem-Bio Group goals and objectives.
- Engage in the overriding philosophy of Standardisation and Productisation throughout the project lifecycle and manage internal and external drivers of such.
- Deliver project milestones consistently on budget with a drive to standardise the products within the Business Stream portfolio.
- Correctly and effectively interpret and administer contract and commercial terms.
- Interpretation of the WES proposal, client specification and expectations of all parties.
What Do You Need?
- Proven track record in Project Management, with an engineering or supervisory background.
- Good time management, with the ability to multitask, plan and organise day-to-day workloads within a busy environment.
- Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work with, lead and motivate others, and be able to bring projects to successful completion.
- Driven, with an ability to work individually and with teams under your direction.
- Innovative thinking, with an ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
