As a Yard Operative, you'll be instrumental in the maintenance, repair, and preparation of our modular buildings and site accommodation units. About The Role
- Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Upkeep: Clean, paint, and perform general maintenance on cabins and buildings as directed.
- Servicing: Service mobile welfare units to ensure they’re in top condition.
- Repairs: Carry out necessary repairs promptly.
- Furniture Management: Check and store furniture returned to the yard, ensuring it’s properly removed from cabins and placed back in storage.
- Efficiency: Minimise material wastage and assist with the safe loading and unloading of cabins, buildings, and materials.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised yard and workshop at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to current health and safety legislation to ensure a safe working environment.
