You will oversee all depot operations, inspire and manage a high‑performing team, uphold health and safety standards, and ensure every customer experiences exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day depot operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, motivate and develop depot staff, creating a positive working environment.
- Maintain the highest professional standards for the depot.
- Hold full P&L responsibility for depot performance.
- Support sales growth alongside Regional Sales and Major Account Managers.
- Respond to enquiries promptly, cost them accurately and profitably.
- Manage hire contracts from initial enquiry through delivery, hire period and off‑hire.
- Conduct site surveys and produce sketch drawings when required.
- Coordinate deliveries, installations and contractor activity to keep projects running smoothly.
- Ensure fleet preparation, inspections and servicing are completed on time.
- Monitor depot activity to guarantee equipment availability and efficient turnaround.
- Ensure purchased materials are cost‑effective and fit for purpose.
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Lead by example in promoting safe working practices across the depot.

- Experience in depot management within the hire industry, ideally in power generation.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial responsibility.
