Role Purpose:

As Fuel Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the fuel desk, ensuring customer fuel requirements are fulfilled efficiently and professionally. You will act as a key point of contact for customers and suppliers, coordinating fuel deliveries, monitoring fuel levels and supporting the commercial success of the fuel service offering

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily transactional requirements of the fuel desk.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to enquiries received through the fuel inbox.
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the fuel ordering and delivery process.
  • Liaise with fuel suppliers regarding order processing, delivery scheduling, failed deliveries, proof of delivery requests and customer queries.
  • Monitor fuel levels and arrange replenishment for fuel-managed contracts using dedicated software systems.
  • Produce accurate monthly customer invoices.
  • Support the achievement of fuel revenue and profitability targets.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are followed in line with company standards.
  • Prepare reports and performance information for management as required.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or coordination role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with customers and suppliers.
  • Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and managing customer expectations.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
