This position is responsible for the daily operation of Asphalt Plant controls. Job functions include operation of the control panel, coordinating trucking operations at the plant with the Superintendent, managing the loader operation at the plant, and ensuring efficient, safe operation of the plant activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily equipment inspection.
  • Safely and efficiently operate the Asphalt plant controls.
  • Monitor and adjust production levels based upon the Superintendent's needs.
  • Coordinate truck flow on the job.
  • Assist the tear down and set up of the plant when moving.
  • Calibrate the plant as needed.
  • Accurately complete plant documentation.
  • Ensure the safe operation of the entire plant site.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Asphalt Plant operation is highly desired.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Electrical experience is beneficial.
  • Must be able to manage and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
