Positions Available Throughout Nebraska
General labor activities related to road construction.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Raking and shoveling asphalt mixture during paving operations
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Operating unloading mechanism on truck trailers
- Perform traffic control and flagging activities as needed
- Follows safety rules and regulations on all job sites
- Occasionally placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices
- Maintain a clean job site
- Potentially operate a skid steer loader (upon proper training)
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work outdoors with possible exposure to inclement weather
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- Experience is not necessary; Werner Construction will provide all necessary training
