Als chauffeur ben je veel meer dan iemand die de taxi van A naar B rijdt. Woon je in de regio Maasgouw, ben je zorgzaam en zoek je een baan met veel vrijheid, flexibiliteit en waardering? Dan is dit iets voor jou.
Je werkt als taxichauffeur leerlingenvervoer elke schooldag tijdens de ochtenduren van 07:00 tot 09:30 en in de namiddag van 14:30 tot 17:00. Je haalt in de regio Midden-Limburg een vaste groep kinderen thuis op en brengt ze op tijd naar school. In de middag sta je klaar bij het schoolplein om ze weer naar huis te brengen. Tot die tijd heb je alle tijd voor jezelf. Een gemiddelde route duurt 1,5 tot 2 uur, wat betekent dat je per dag circa 3 tot 4 uur aan het rijden bent. Ben je ook beschikbaar in de avonduren of in het weekend? Dan bespreken we graag de mogelijkheden om meer uren ingezet te worden.
Veiligheid staat bij jou voorop! Je begeleidt de kinderen zorgvuldig bij het in- en uitstappen en vertrekt pas wanneer iedereen op de juiste plaats zit en de veiligheidsgordel om heeft. Met jouw enthousiasme zorg je voor een fijne sfeer in de bus waardoor de kinderen je non-stop vertellen over wat ze hebben geleerd en meegemaakt. Soms word je zelfs verrast met een lief compliment of een creatieve knutsel!
Als startend chauffeur begin je met een inwerkprogramma waarin je alles leert over Van Driel, onze werkwijze, je werkzaamheden en de doelgroepen. Je krijgt ook praktische tips over het voertuig dat je gaat gebruiken. Tijdens je werk heb je volop sociale contacten: met de kinderen en hun ouders of verzorgers, en met je collega’s die je tegenkomt bij het schoolplein of een van de standplaatsen. Met de boordcomputer, waarmee je actuele ritinformatie ontvangt, sta je in directe verbinding met de centrale.
Wat betreft jouw voertuig, deze mag mee naar huis genomen worden. Je start en eindigt jouw werkdag dus vanuit je eigen woonadres.
