Under general supervision, performs a variety of senior level technical and administrative duties in the production of complex assemblies and instruments involving electrical, mechanical and chemical processes. Participates in preparation and tracking of production and quality objectives, participates in data collection.
Responsibilities
- Uses complex test equipment and performs highly technical procedures.
- Works from specifications, schematics and written/verbal instructions.
- Trains and advises less experienced technicians in appropriate troubleshooting and corrective action to prevent recurrence.
- Determines and recommends resources required to assist in resolution of problems.
- Provides input to the team leader for technical problems.
- Ensures proper compliance with all standards and IL procedures.
- Performs accurate cycle count.
- Maintains 5S policies in their work areas.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of experience in comparable working environment.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift and move materials per current OSHA standards.
Travel Requirements
No travel required.
The hourly range for this role is currently $19/hr to $24/hr. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs. This role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, k plan retirement benefits with an employer match, as well as paid vacation and sick leave.
