Administrative Assistant in Downpatrick

Job Description Job Title: Admin, Sales & Operations Assistant Location: Werewolf Food Ltd, Downpatrick Hours: 16 hours per week / Flexible Hours / £15 per hour Reports To: Operations Manager / Business Owner Closing Date: Thursday 22nd October About the Role We are looking for a reliable, flexible and practical part-time team member to join our small team and help with the day-to-day running of the business. This is a varied, hands-on role covering admin, customer communication, local deliveries, warehouse support and proactive sales follow-up. The right person will be organised, friendly and confident with customers, with the common sense to spot opportunities, solve problems and help where needed. Key Responsibilities Respond professionally to emails, WhatsApp messages and social media enquiries. Spot sales opportunities through enquiries, follow-ups and day-to-day conversations, helping turn interest into orders. Follow up with existing and prospective customers by phone in a helpful and confident way. Build good relationships with customers by being helpful, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Develop strong product knowledge, with training and support, so you can answer questions and recommend suitable products. Administrative duties and data entry. Deliver orders to local customers. Support warehouse operations during busy periods. Requirements Full driving licence. Good organisational and communication skills. Confidence speaking to customers by phone, including follow-up and sales-related calls. A proactive, practical approach to spotting customer needs and following up opportunities. Willingness to learn the product range in detail and become a knowledgeable point of contact for customers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable with light lifting and manual handling. Practical, competent computer skills. Preferred Experience Previous administrative, customer service, delivery, warehouse or sales experience would be an advantage, but attitude matters most. We are looking for someone personable, practical and willing to get involved. A genuine interest in dogs and the products we sell would be a real bonus.
