Weredog is a Bristol-based adult product design and manufacturing company focused on fantasy and fringe markets. We make high-quality silicone sex toys in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, and we’re proud of the supportive, inclusive, and expressive culture we’ve built. We’re looking for a full-time Production Operative to join our team. This is a practical, physical role that involves preparing, mixing, and pouring silicone into moulds to create our products. It’s an ideal job for someone with a chef or kitchen background who thrives in structured, process-driven environments where timing and precision matter.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (4 days a week, 40 hours total including breaks), Fridays off.
As a Production Operative, your job is to prepare materials, mix pigments and silicone, and pour them into custom moulds with speed, accuracy, and consistency. You’ll also be responsible for keeping your station clean and organised, tracking batch information, and communicating clearly with your team. The role is highly physical, hands-on, and repetitive, similar to working a line in a professional kitchen, but with silicone instead of food.
Job Duties:- Set up your station each morning with tools, materials, and moulds.
- Weigh, mix, and pigment silicone accurately using digital scales and mixing equipment.
- Pour silicone into moulds following daily recipes and instructions.
- Track batch data and maintain process logs for quality control.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organised workstation.
- Assist with demoulding and prepping items for the next stage of production.
- Work alongside the team to hit daily production goals.
- Communicate clearly with your team members.
- Experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment (Chef, baker, kitchen, or prep cook experience is ideal).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Able to work cleanly and consistently under time pressure.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 15kg.
- Comfortable working with pigments and liquid materials.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused.
- Comfortable working in a factory setting that produces adult-themed products.
- Private health insurance.
- 4-day workweek (Friday off).
- Casual dress.
- Company events.
- Stocked break room with drinks and food.
- Employee discount.
- Free on-site parking.
- Sick pay.
- A friendly, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere.
