An excellent opportunity has arisen for an MET Technician to join one of our longstanding clients, a brilliant Accident Repair Centre in Littlehampton, West Sussex.

The Role:
- Strip and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components
- Remove and store vehicle parts, fluids, and gases safely and in line with job specifications
- Re-assemble vehicles post-repair ensuring correct alignment and quality finish
- Carry out 4-wheel alignment and mechanical repairs as required
- Identify and report faults or defects during the repair process
- Conduct safety and quality checks, including warning light diagnostics and beam settings
- Ensure all repairs follow the correct manufacturer repair methods (e.g., e-scribe)
- Log torque settings and safety-critical component checks
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, using protective covers in all vehicles
- Follow health & safety and PAS125 procedures
- Complete documentation and job cards accurately
The Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in MET or vehicle body repairs
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong mechanical, suspension, and electrical system knowledge
- Experience using computerised alignment systems
- Air conditioning and encapsulated glass qualifications (preferred)
- ATA qualifications (beneficial but not essential)
- Team-oriented with a proactive and flexible attitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
