Our Newcastle office is currently recruiting for a Bids Coordinator to support the team in coordinating a smooth-running bid process.

We are looking for a Bids Coordinator to join our highly regarded EMEA Strategic Bids Team. Bidding is a key aspect of our business, and one of the ways Norton Rose Fulbright wins work and grows its relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring portals and email inbox
  2. Reviewing daily opportunity emails
  3. Keeping teams updated on the status of documents
  4. Maintaining the team\'s project tracking system
  5. Reading and understanding client bid documentation, deadlines, and submission requirements; drafting compliant responses to questions
  6. Assisting with planning and coordination of bid documents
  7. Sourcing content from lawyers and others; checking and rechecking provided content
  8. Implementing guidance and comments from lawyers into documents
  9. Reviewing existing documents for potential reuse
  10. Formatting and customizing content
  11. Ensuring all documents are error-free
  12. Creating initial drafts of diagrams and flowcharts
  13. Managing documentation layout and presentation to high standards, including adaptation

You will be responsible for helping to compile documents for client submissions and ensuring all requested information is included. Excellent attention to detail is essential to ensure error-free documents.

Experience in a fast-paced, corporate/office environment is important. This role offers the opportunity to work with an experienced bid team, with training and support provided throughout.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Absolute attention to detail
  • At least 1 year of experience in a corporate/office environment
  • Accurate writing, spelling, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong written communication and drafting skills
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
