About the roleWe’re looking for a friendly, helpful person to join the team in our Leeds branch as a Customer Service Assistant.This role is responsible for delivering a friendly, professional, and efficient customer service, taking the time to understand customer's individual requests and provide them with the service they came in for. This role will support with a wide range of enquiries, transactions and service requests, ensuring every interaction is handled with care and a genuine commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.This is a full time role working 8.45am - 5pm Monday and Friday.Our Customer Service Assistants process cash transactions safely and accurately, while maintaining a good understanding of our products, services, policies and procedures. By keeping knowledge up to date and applying it confidently, the role holder will help customers make decisions and offer support that’s relevant to their needs.This role will help protect and educate against fraud and scams and engaging with customers from various backgrounds including those who may be more vulnerable. Day to day the ideal candidate will work towards goals and objectives, adhere to day to day regulatory and compliance requirements and work as part of a team, sharing and identifying ways to improve the service provided by the branch.Alongside delivering outstanding service in person the successful person will also support the wider Customer Service team by taking phone calls and supporting administration tasks.
