We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, an understanding of branding, and basic knowledge of design tools and software. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing Team and support the Sales Team in creating visually engaging content that aligns with our brand identity and business goals. You must be able to work efficiently, manage priorities, and approach tasks with a sense of urgency when required. The ideal candidate will have either at least 1 year of experience in a design role or hold a minimum Level 3 design qualification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities
  • Support the Marketing Team in creating visual content for digital and print platforms.
  • Design marketing materials including flyers, POS graphics, presentations, and social media content.
  • Assist with artwork preparation for exhibitions, events, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials in line with Wera brand guidelines.
  • Prepare print-ready and digital-ready artwork files.
  • Support photography, image editing, and content preparation where required.
  • Assist with general design tasks and contribute ideas during campaign development.
Skills
  • Experience within the design industry, ideally supported by a design degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Solid understanding of layout principles, typography, and colour theory.
  • Working knowledge of digital and print production processes.
  • Ability to prepare artwork suitable for both digital platforms and print output.
  • Strong written English skills, with excellent spelling and grammar.
  • A portfolio showcasing creative design projects and visual problem-solving.
  • Basic knowledge of file management and version control practices.
  • Understanding of brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency across materials.
  • Familiarity with social media content formats and platform requirements.
