The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.

Description

We are offering the following position for the role as Supply Chain Operator. Predominately covering Raw Materials (alternate weeks 06:00-14:00 and 10:00-18:00), in the warehouse department of WEPA Group.

Your responsibilities:

  • Adherence to health and safety policy and procedures. Safe systems of work, PPE, near miss reporting.
  • Adherence to quality procedures.
  • Ability to operate counterbalance truck with various attachments.
  • Unloading raw material deliveries, checking deliveries for damages/missing items and labelling stock.
  • Placing items into pallet racking and designated areas.
  • Stock rotation.
  • Using the BOM issue materials to all converting lines.
  • At the end of production runs/changeovers return excess materials to the warehouse for storage, wrapping and relabelling stock.
  • Loading outbound trailers.
  • Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and PC.
  • Adherence to stock management systems.
  • JDE is operated as per training. To ensure accurate stock levels are maintained for cost purposes, BOM accuracy and the production plan can be met.
  • Effective communication from shift-to-shift, supervision and planning team.
  • Cross-skilled with the ability to perform other tasks within the warehouse operation.

  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Knowledge and operation of WMS.
  • Sufficient level of numeracy and literacy, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
