Your responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and continual improvement of the site's ISO45001 Health and Safety Management System.
  • Support with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant UK health and safety legislation and company standards.
  • Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training.
  • Support risk assessments, safe systems of work, and permit-to-work processes.
  • Analyse safety performance data and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness activities and drills.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Assist with contractor management and site safety compliance activities.

Your profile:

  • Personality: Team player, strong influencing skills, self-motivated, flexible approach to work.
  • Working method: Team-orientated, methodical, solution orientated, ability to work independently.
  • Experiences and know-how: Professional safety experience, knowledge of ISO 45001 desirable, IRCA qualified auditor desirable.
  • Qualification: NEBOSH General certificate essential.
  • Languages: Fluent in English.
