We are offering the following position for the role as Supply Chain Operator, predominantly covering Raw Materials (alternate weeks 06:00-14:00 and 10:00-18:00), in the warehouse department of WEPA Group.
Responsibilities:
- Adherence to health and safety policy and procedures.
- Safe systems of work, PPE, near miss reporting.
- Adherence to quality procedures.
- Ability to operate counterbalance truck with various attachments.
- Unloading raw material deliveries, checking deliveries for damages/missing items and labelling stock.
- Placing items into pallet racking and designated areas.
- Stock rotation.
- Using the BOM to issue materials to all converting lines.
- At the end of production runs/changeovers, return excess materials to the warehouse for storage, wrapping and relabelling stock.
- Loading outbound trailers.
- Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and PC.
- Adherence to stock management systems.
- JDE is operated as per training.
- To ensure accurate stock levels are maintained for cost purposes, BOM accuracy and the production plan can be met.
- Effective communication from shift-to-shift, supervision and planning team.
- Cross-skilled with the ability to perform other tasks within the warehouse operation.
