Role Objectives
The WEP Clinical Project Finance Analyst is responsible for managing the financial health of projects, working closely with the Project Management team, Business Development, and other departments to accurately record and clearly report financial data. The Project Analyst serves as the financial expert in client interactions, collaborating, educating, and when necessary, challenging teams to ensure sound financial practices. This role also includes the responsibility of escalating financial concerns through appropriate channels.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with teams to accurately record actual units and corresponding values on a monthly cycle.
- Work with teams to forecast future units and revenue accurately.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Monitor the total project cash position, including services, PTCs, grants, outstanding invoices, and advances.
- Maintain accurate data in required systems (PPRs, invoice trackers, OOS logs, project trackers).
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and support interim and year‑end audit processes.
- Support the CO process by accurately recording OOS and contributing to COs as needed.
- Stay up to date with local and global revenue regulations.
- Deliver accurate and timely client reporting per client requirements.
- Participate in ad hoc projects related to process improvement and other project‑based work.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a financial role within a CRO environment is preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as databases and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical skills and organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion.
- Self‑starter and eager to learn.
- Strong influencing and challenging skills when necessary.
- Understanding of financial aspects of projects from bid tool to project closeout.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods as part of normal day‑to‑day activities, with reasonable adjustments considered where appropriate.
