Pay & Hours:
We offer a competitive pay of £28,000 to £33,000 depending on experience and a working week of 42 hours over 5 days a week, Monday to Sunday.
About You:
As a Senior Shop Manager for Wenzel's, you will be the spine and structure of your store, you will have a minimum of 2 years food to go/retail experience, able to motivate and lead a team, and be an excellent communicator. Ensure smooth running of the store to maximize sales and minimize costs whilst reaching KPI targets. Lead, train, develop and motivate a team with a hands-on approach. Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Eager for career progression and want to succeed. Motivate, inspire and lead by example.
As a Shop Manager you will be responsible for:
- Successfully managing and controlling your own shop.
- Training and developing team members to a high level in your own store and local stores when needed.
- Recruiting – interviewing and hiring for your own store and for local stores in your division when needed.
- Being the point of contact for local shops when their shop manager is on holiday.
- Food production quality.
- Exceeding shop performance and KPI’s – including sales, wastage %, wage ratio, staff retention and average spend.
- Ensuring the store is clean, organised and welcoming for customers.
- Monitoring food safety standards.
- Ensuring high standards of customer service.
