Pay & Hours
We offer our Shop Supervisors a rate of ÂŁ12.71 per hour. The working week is 39 hours over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs.
Job Role
As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes, and other food products in line with our standards, while providing excellent customer service. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards and have opportunities for progression.
You will assist the Shop Manager with daily operations, supervising the team, increasing sales, controlling costs, and building customer loyalty.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
- Receive and check daily deliveries.
- Assist with stock management and produce.
- Maintain product knowledge and quality standards.
- Prepare food according to specifications.
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are met.
- Work efficiently within a team.
- Handle cash and operate tills.
- Open or close the shop as needed.
- Manage shifts at various times during the week.
- Drive sales and minimize wastage.
- Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required.
- Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
