Pay & Hours:

We offer a competitive pay of £28,000 to £33,000 depending on experience and a working week is 42 hours over 5 days a week, Monday to Sunday.


About You:

As a Senior Shop Manager for Wenzel's, you will be the spine and structure of your store, will be somebody who has a minimum of 2 years food to go/retail experience, able to motivate and lead a team and be an excellent communicator.

- You will be the one to ensure smooth running of the store to maximize sales and minimize costs whilst reaching your KPI targets.

- Enable to lead, train, develop and motivate a team with a hands-on approach

- Thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Eager for career progression and wants to succeed

- Motivating, inspiring and to be able to lead by example.


As a Shop Manager you will be responsible for:

- Successfully managing and controlling your own shop.

- Training and development of team members to a high level in your own store and local stores when needed.

- Recruitment - Interviewing and hiring for your own store but also for local stores in you division when needed.

- Being the point of contact for local shops when their shop manager is on holiday.

- Food production quality.

- Exceeding shop performance and KPI's - This will include sales, wastage %, Wage ratio, staff retention and average spend.

- Ensure the store is clean, organised and welcoming for customers.

- Monitoring Food safety standards.

- Ensuring high standards of customer service.
