Wenzel’s The Bakers is looking for a Shop Manager to lead and manage store operations, ensuring sales growth, cost control, and excellent customer service.

Pay & Hours
- Competitive salary of £28,000 to £33,000 depending on experience.
- Working week of 42 hours over 5 days (Monday to Sunday).
About You
- Minimum of 2 years food‑to‑go/retail experience.
- Excellent communicator, able to motivate and lead a team.
- Comfortable managing a store, handling KPI targets, and driving performance.
- Hands‑on trainer and developer of staff.
- Excels in a fast‑paced environment and seeks career progression.
Responsibilities
- Manage and control shop operations.
- Train and develop team members to high standards.
- Recruit, interview, and hire for store and local divisions.
- Act as point of contact for local shops when their manager is on holiday.
- Maintain food production quality and safety standards.
- Exceed shop performance KPIs (sales, wastage %, wage ratio, staff retention, average spend).
- Ensure the store is clean, organised, and welcoming.
- Maintain high customer service standards.
