AutoCAD / Revit Technician

Develop our REVIT templates and families for our work as lead engineer.
Support our existing technician team as they develop and hone their REVIT capabilities.
Review and negotiate project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) to ensure that we understand and can comply with contractual.
Lead the structural and geotechnical design for key projects, with responsibility for planning, delivery, financial performance and stakeholder management.
Set the overall design strategy for structure and foundations, delivering holistic integrated design solutions.
Ensure the completeness, checking and quality of our deliverables.
Support the development of technical and digital capabilities of the team, including sustainability.
BEng (Hons) degree in civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering.
CITB Construction Skills Certification Scheme Card.
Typically, a minimum of 5 years relevant post graduate experience.

Understanding and Practical Application of Engineering:
Comprehensive understanding of fundamental engineering principles, physics and statics.
Good working knowledge of design in all mainstream materials (steel / concrete & timber).
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documentation.
Plan the work and resources needed to enable effective implementation of engineering tasks and projects.
Manage the planning and organisation of tasks and resources.
Execute tasks and projects in accordance with the plan adapting to change as required.
Commercial Ability:
Manage, prepare and control costs/budgets of engineering tasks or projects.
Use sound knowledge of main commercial frameworks and have an appreciation of other commercial arrangements.
Demonstrate sound judgement on contractual and commercial issues.
