Consultancy Commission Opportunity | Heritage Skills Training Development Consultant
Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trustis seeking an experiencedHeritage Skills Training Developer Consultantto play an exciting role in developing a programme of accredited and non-accredited training for theHeritage Skills Centre of Excellence in South Yorkshire, which is due to open in 2028.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new centre focused on developing heritage skills, supporting training and employment opportunities, and contributing to the future sustainability of the heritage sector.
The Commission
- Contract: Initial 12-month consultancy
- Commitment: 3–4 days per week
- Contract value: £40,000 for Year 1
- Potential: Possibility of further extension
- Closing date for applications: 17 August 2026
We are looking for an individual with relevant experience in heritage skills, training development and/or education who can bring expertise, creativity and a practical approach to the development and delivery of the Centre’s training offer.
