We are seeking a friendly, organised, and motivated Receptionist to join our busy GP practice.
As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring patients receive the support and care they need.
The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Previous reception or customer service experience is desirable, and experience within a healthcare setting would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
As a GP Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors to the practice, providing a professional, welcoming, and efficient service.
You will be responsible for handling patient enquiries, booking and managing appointments, processing repeat prescription requests, and maintaining accurate patient records.
