Toolmaker

Are you an experienced Toolmaker with a background in Die Casting, Stampings or Injection Moulding? We are currently looking to hire an experienced Toolmaker who is used to working in a fast paced environment ideally within the Automotive industry. You will be working as part of a team in one of the best manufacturing facilities in the Midlands. With significant investment and a whole new business acquisition it is a fantastic opportunity and time to join. The role of Toolmaker will be responsible for: * Completing scheduled mechanical build up of assembly fixtures from CAD / 2D drawings and BOM’s. * Take ownership of tooling corrective repairs to ensure successful completion on time. * Support other business units in all aspects of jig, fixtures, fabrications and assembly build processes. * Improve tooling performance, reliability and quality. * Verify engineering spec’s, quality standards and adhere to CAD / 2D drawings and verification from CMM. It is essential that the successful Toolmaker is apprentice trained and has worked in a high volume automotive supplier. Experience of working with one or all is essential – Press, Stamping, Casting or injection moulding tools. In return my client is able to offer a competitive salary of Circa £43,000 working Mornings & Afternoon rotating.
